Silverstone supplies the complete overhead-line conductor package — AAC, AAAC and ACSR bare conductors, XLPE power and aerial bundled cables to 26/35 kV, and OPGW/ADSS optical ground wire with matched fittings. Sourced from qualified Chinese plants, delivered on export drums with routine test reports, and engineered to your grid code and span-tension-sag design.

What information do you need to quote conductors or OPGW?
Conductor type and code (e.g. ACSR 240/30), applicable standard, quantity in km or tons, drum/length requirements and destination port. For OPGW, add fiber count and type, rated tensile strength (RTS), short-circuit capacity and line voltage. We return a priced offer with lead time within 24 hours on working days.
Which standards do your conductors and optical cables comply with?
Bare conductors are supplied to GB 1179 classes or to IEC-equivalent constructions on request; aluminum-clad steel wires follow ASTM B416 and IEC 61232. OPGW and ADSS follow IEC 60794-4, IEEE 1138 / IEEE P1222 and DL/T 832 / GB/T 7424.4. Export orders are produced to IEC or to the customer's specification.
Can you design an OPGW for our transmission line?
Yes. Provide system voltage, fiber count, span-tension-sag requirements, weather loads (wind speed, ice thickness) and tower data; our partner engineers return a structure design with diameter, weight, RTS, DC resistance and short-circuit capacity for approval before production.
Do you supply OPGW hardware and fittings together with the cable?
Yes. Dead-end fittings, suspension clamps, vibration dampers, joint boxes, down-lead clamps and earthing wires for OPGW and ADSS are quoted with the cable so the whole line package arrives matched.
